Pirated softwares

Once I had a chat with one of my friends who is an authorised distributor of Tally software from tally solutions.  During the course of our talks he was very heavy on those who pirated tally software.  I need to mention that tally software is a revolution in the field of accounting that has helped many in simplifying their accounting needs.  He said, "those who used crack version or pirated version of tally are !@#$%^%&&*(*!.  

His organisation being a registered private limited company, he has an infrastructure of around 50 computers with a decent hall to train people in tally software.  All these computers run on Windows platform.  I asked him how much cost he incurred in getting genuine windows software for all his computers. He said, nothing!  All the systems are maintained by some computer mechanic who has a pirated windows software to run his business!

Connecting Rural Roads in Tamil Nadu

The Ministry of Rural Development has released grant in aid worth Rs. 140,00,00,000 crore (Rs. One hundred and forty crore only) as part payment of 2nd installment of Phase-VI, for construction of rural roads in Tamil Nadu under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).The sum is from the special window created in NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development) under RIDF as grants in aid to the Tamil Nadu Rural Housing & Infrastructure Development Cooperation (TNRHIDC). TNRHIDC is the agency executing the works taken up under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in the state.

Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is a 100 % centrally sponsored scheme to provide road connectivity in the rural areas of the country. PMGSY envisages connectivity to all habitations with a population of 500 persons and above in the rural areas and about 250 persons and above in respect of the hilly states, tribal areas and desert areas through good and all weather roads.

Open tire fire emissions include "criteria" pollutants, such as particulates, carbon monoxide (CO), sulfur oxides (SO2), oxides of nitrogen (NOx), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). They also include "non-criteria" hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), such as polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), dioxins, furans, hydrogen chloride, benzene, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs); and metals such as arsenic, cadmium, nickel, zinc, mercury, chromium, and vanadium. Both criteria and HAP emissions from an open tire fire can represent significant acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) health hazards to firefighters and nearby residents. Depending on the length and degree of exposure, these health effects could include irritation of the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes, respiratory effects, central nervous system depression, and cancer. Firefighters and others working near a large tire fire should be equipped with respirators and dermal protection. Unprotected exposure to the visible smoke plume should be avoided................. Where are those who are employed by the Law abiding people to check these pollutors?

Rounding Off - 379 crores.

CAG Report indicated a revenue loss of Rs. 176379 Crores to the Exchequer in 2G Spectrum allocation.  Indians have gone to the level of rounding off 379 Crores (Though statistically correct!).  Finally A. Raja has been arrested by CBI.  Raja has paid his price for his loyalty towards his party super heads!  Instead of becoming famous for his various contributions to the telecom sector, he has become notorious.  All his toil is a spoil.

Indian Political parties can be on tracks only if they have funds.  To contest an election is not a simple task for a party.  They spend thousands of crores during elections.  Bargains at all levels have to be met by money.  Now that politics is not purely service to the people, it is a business.  In a term of 5 years, pay-back period should at least be 3 to 4 years.

Collections for transfers, Subsidy Loans, all types of registrations, Licences, Clearances etc etc are the pay backs to the politicians and their parties.

Inspite of his loyalty to the party, he has been made a Scape Goat by its leaders!  Sure, they will cover him up if they need him else scrap him.

Now the Drama has begun.  Let's wait and watch but don't miss the pittance to be distributed by the parties before the election day! THE ELECTION WHERE WE DECIDE BETWEEN THE WORSE AND THE WORST.
